Relevant legal bases
In the following, we share the legal bases of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of which we process personal data:
- Performance of a contract and pre-contractual requests (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) — processing to answer requests aimed at concluding a contract.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) — processing to safeguard legitimate interests, provided that the interests or fundamental rights of the data subject do not prevail.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) — processing to fulfil legal obligations.
Security measures
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of protection appropriate to the risk. These include in particular the encryption of data transmission via TLS/SSL (recognisable by the https:// in the address bar) as well as suitable access, input and transmission controls.
Contact
When contacting us (e.g. via the contact form or e-mail), the information of the requesting persons is processed insofar as this is necessary to answer the request. Specifically, we process the data entered in the contact form (name, e-mail address, possibly workshop/organisation and message) exclusively to answer your request.

Provision of the online offering and web hosting
In order to provide our online offering securely and efficiently, we use the services of a web hosting provider (IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany), from whose servers the online offering can be retrieved. Server log files record IP addresses, date and time of access, browser type and operating system; they serve solely to deliver the offering and ensure security (in particular detection of attacks) and are usually deleted after 14 days.

- Data subjects: users (website visitors).
- Legal bases: legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Fonts (Google Fonts)
On this website, we use the fonts “Inter" and “Russo One" via Google Fonts (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When loading the fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google\'s servers so that your browser can load the fonts. To our knowledge, no further analysis takes place.

Deletion of data
The data processed by us will be deleted in accordance with statutory provisions as soon as the consents permitted for processing are revoked or other permissions cease to apply (e.g. if the purpose of processing this data has ceased to apply or if it is no longer necessary for the purpose). Where data must be retained for legal reasons (e.g. retention obligations under commercial or tax law), its processing is restricted to those purposes.
Rights of data subjects
As a data subject, you are entitled to various rights under the GDPR, in particular under Art. 15 to 18 and 21 GDPR:
- Right to object: you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you.
- Right of access: you can request confirmation as to whether data concerning you is being processed and obtain access to such data.
- Right to rectification: you have the right to request the completion of data concerning you or the rectification of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure and restriction of processing: you have the right to demand that data concerning you be deleted without undue delay or to demand restriction of the processing of the data.
- Right to data portability: you have the right to receive data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format.
- Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you consider that the processing infringes the GDPR.
